What if the most productive thing you could do this year… was rest?

This November, we’re inviting pastors and ministry leaders to step away for three days of intentional recharge – in one of the most stunning and soul-refreshing settings in the country.

Welcome to Scottsdale: palm trees, sunshine, desert trails, and an upscale resort atmosphere that sets the stage for spiritual and personal renewal.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHO IS INVITED?

This retreat is open to pastors, ministry staff, and key leaders—whether paid or volunteer—who carry meaningful responsibility in the life of the church. If you’re helping shape culture, lead people, or carry vision in your local context, this gathering is for you. Spouses are encouraged to attend, especially for those in pastoral roles where ministry is a shared journey. While the tone of the retreat is restful and sabbatical in nature, it’s not just for those who feel burned out—it’s for those who recognize the value of stepping back to reflect, reconnect, and realign. If you’re the kind of person who’s always pouring out, this is a space to be filled—relationally, spiritually, and personally.

We’re keeping the event intentionally intimate, and our host resort has a limited number of rooms available. If interest exceeds our initial room block, we’ll do our best to expand—but we can’t guarantee it. So if you’re considering joining us, we strongly encourage you to register early. Lock in your spot, invite your team, and give yourself something to look forward to this fall.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Registration is ESTIMATED to be $1,000 per couple. This includes the retreat experience and two nights of hotel accommodation (Thursday & Friday nights). Additional nights may be available for early arrival or extended stay, and must be arranged through our site.

WHERE IS IT BEING HELD?

The retreat will be hosted at The Scott Resort in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona. Specific address and check-in details will be provided upon registration. Please note: all hotel bookings must be made through our conference site to access group rates and included amenities.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY REGISTRATION?
  • Two nights at The Scott Resort (Thursday & Friday)
  • Access to all retreat experiences, including curated sessions, shared hospitality, and resort amenities
  • A thoughtfully crafted environment for rest, reflection, and reconnection
CAN I COME EARLY OR STAY LATER?

Yes, please! We encourage attendees to arrive Wednesday for a slower start and deeper rest. Extra nights at the resort can be purchased during registration at a rate of $249 ++ (based on availability).

IS THIS A CONFERENCE?

Not at all. This is a retreat – a spacious, curated time of soul care and reconnection. While there are sessions for content and empowerment, there will not be a jam-packed agenda. We are planning plenty of space for connection, community as well as time to simply breathe and be human.

WILL THERE BE CHILDCARE?

No. This event is designed as a retreat for adult ministry leaders and their spouses. Please make arrangements for childcare at home so you can fully unplug and participate.

DO I NEED TO PLAN ANY TRANSPORTATION?

Yes. Transportation to and from the retreat is not included. Scottsdale is easily accessible from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX), and ride shares or rental cars are readily available.

WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE LIKE?

The rhythm is intentionally slow. Programming begins Thursday evening and continues through Friday. Mornings are open and relaxed, with casual guided sessions. Meals, firepit hangs, and meaningful conversations fill out the day. Wednesday and Saturday are open for rest or travel.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN ATTEND?

Space is limited. We recommend registering early to ensure you and your team secure a spot.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

Due to our corresponding commitments with vendors, refunds will not be available for registrations for this event.

ARE MEALS INCLUDED IN THE COST?

There will be several food and drink opportunities that will be included in the registration cost. Those details will be given with the final schedule as we get closer to the event.

There will be some meals that attendees will be responsible for.

WHAT SHOULD I PACK OR WEAR?

Casual resort wear is perfect for most of the event—think appropriate pool attire, light layers for cool desert evenings, and comfy clothes for relaxed sessions. Since Scottsdale offers upscale dining and outdoor activities, you may want to pack something nicer for evening meals or options for walking/hiking.

CAN I INVITE A GUEST OR SOMEONE OUTSIDE THE REGION?

Yes. While this retreat is designed for our regional pastors and leaders, we welcome pastors and ministry leaders interested in learning more about our movement or exploring the possibility of joining the C3 community.
